BE WiSE ISEF 2011 Results
Science Fair season 2011 is officially in the books and San Diego's BE WiSE Alumnae have proven to do very well at the Intel Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)! Only about 25% of the 1500 students (and 1200 projects) walk away from ISEF with an award, and we are proud to announce that two BE WiSE Alumnae were among these award winners. The award winning projects are:
BI031 Regulation of Nitric Oxide Expression as a Form of Neurotransmitter Plasticity

Vaishnavi was in the BE WiSE Oncofertility Academy 2010
2nd Place Grand Award $1500
American Association for Clinical Chemistry: For the projects that best demonstrate the use of chemistry to diagnose
diseases and to treat patients. Third Award of $500
American Physiological Society: For the best projects in the physiological sciences which include cellular
physiology, animal physiology, and neurophysiology. Third Award of $500
Office of Naval Research on behalf of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
Tuition Scholarship Award in the amount of $8,000
