SAN DIEGO SCIENCE ALLIANCE AND GENENTECH ANNOUNCE A FIELD STUDY OPPORTUNITY MINI-GRANT PROGRAM Approximately twenty five (25) $500 mini-grants are available to science teachers in grades 4-8 in Oceanside, San Marcos, and Vista Districts for field experiences for students that :• Are integrated into a standards-based unit of study. • Provide evidence of student learning in Earth, Life, or Physical science. • Will be completed by May 2011.
