Anne Prause Blue Tribute

We honor the life of Anne Prause Blue who quietly walked among the giants of innovation and engineering, yet remained focused on important aesthetics, environment and relationships that bring us inspiration, everyday, to explore creativity and ways to convey complex ideas.  Thank you Anne for your kindness.

 The gentle approach Anne took to encourage, reflected the kind person she was.  She wondered, out loud, about what it takes to get kids of all backgrounds excited about learning about how the world works.  Anne asked interesting questions that provoked me to dig deep and think about what it would take to scale programs I was developing to all children throughout the region.  Her probing questions still perturb me and encourage me today.

 Anne's presence at General Atomics where our Founder, Patricia Winter was located gave her access to the work of SDSA.  She was interested in our work and showed it by visiting the PISCES classrooms, BE WiSE programs and making contributions to support our work.  She is a special star to remember in this, our 15^th year as we acknowledge how time flies and those who have helped make it happen.
