The San Diego Qualcomm Regional FIRST Robotics Competition is open to the public, and admission is FREE.
The FIRST Robotics Competition is an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and young people together to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way. The competitions have all the action of a major sporting event, and the feel and attitude of a rock concert - complete with music and lighting effects… and it’s FUN!
The competition shows students that the technological fields hold many opportunities and that the basic concepts of science, math, engineering, and invention are exciting and interesting.
Parents, Kids, Young Adults, Teachers, Principals, as well as people working in the fields of Science, Technology, and Engineering — just to name a few — will find these competitions especially entertaining. Come see how we make learning FUN!
