Point Loma Nazarene University offers a graduate program in general biology designed especially for teachers. Take intensive biology content courses in the summer, then take courses in research design, science education, and the history of biology during the fall and spring courses. These fall and spring courses are mostly online with monthly meetings on campus. Students have the option to complete either an Master of Science by doing a thesis or to complete a Master of Arts by completing additional coursework.
