Local examples help to make the learning process relevant for students and encourage conservation.

Student movies feature Dr. ECO and student super heroes presenting the necessary background information along with introducing each of the six lessons.  Dr. ECO and her super heroes explore San Diego County learning the origins of San Diego's water, how water is managed locally and the importance of conservation.

ECOLIFE FOUNDATION

The ECOLIFE Foundation is dedicated to the conservation of nature and natural resources.  We work through education and by assisting communities to obtain water, food and shelter in biologically sustainable ways.

ECOLIFE addresses conservation by working to meet human needs through community-based work designed to conserve wildlife and natural ecosystems while increasing the quality of life for the people who depend most directly on those ecosystems.  We define solutions collaboratively and respectfully then we work towards verifiable goals. By creating models and combining efforts through strategic partnerships with businesses and aid organizations, we multiply the leverage applied toward solving issues.

ECO Expeditions was generously funded by a grant from the McCarthy Family Foundation.
