Free Event for High School Students and Their Parents

High school students are invited to attend Engineering Explorations on Nov. 14, 2009 at UCSD.

Engineering Explorations is an annual event for San Diego high school students interested in science, engineering, or college life in general. Parents are welcome to attend, as well!

Attendees will get to take tours of UCSD research labs and hear about the cutting-edge research going on there. There will also be panels with current UCSD students and parents of students to talk about college life, and what it's like to be an engineering student. Third, there will be an engineering student organization fair, where attendees can meet with current UCSD engineering students, and see the exciting projects they're working on outside of class! Finally, students will get to work on a fun, hands-on engineering challenge.
