LAST FREE WATER QUALITY TESTING WORKSHOP THIS YEAR - JANUARY 10, 2011 - 6th - 12th Grades
Science Alliance Members:
The San Diego County Water Authority will be offering its semi-annual Water Quality Testing Workshop on Monday, January 10 at Mission Trails Regional Park. This workshop will teach you how to use our water testing kit and make you eligible for checking one out in the future. The kit comes in a small suitcase and contains nine different tests. This program provides you with a great opportunity for a hands-on experience in your biology, chemistry, or environmental science classes.
The workshop is entirely FREE, and we will even pay for a substitute teacher for you that day.
You will learn how to run all of the tests and receive background information on them, as well. Additionally, you will be provided with a set of new GIS watershed maps of San Diego County, a teaching manual, and a free lunch!
***Don't miss this great opportunity for all of these free materials and follow-up support***
