Day 1 (12/27/10): Planet and Moons
Investigate our closest neighbors in the solar system. Why is Venus so hot?
Can we really build a space station on Mars? Find out the answers to these
questions and many more.

|
Day 2 (12/28/10): Sun Science
Discover
why the sun is our favorite star. Explore the seasons, make sun prints, build
sundials, and learn why this giant ball of gas is so important to life on
Earth.

|
Day 3 (12/29/10): To Worlds Beyond
Have
you ever wondered how many galaxies, planets, moons, and stars are out there?
Move beyond our solar system to explore the secrets of the night sky, and
gain an appreciation for the vastness and beauty of space.

Day 4 (12/30/10): Living in Space
Experience
what it's like to live and work like an astronaut! Blast off the
International Space Station in our Nierman Challenger Learning Center, create
your own astronaut gear, and design tools to make life in space a little less
complicated.

|
Day 5 (12/31/10): Rocket Science
Brush
up on your basic rocketry skills while uncovering the propulsion principles
that send real rockets into space. Design, build, and launch all types of
rockets and other spacecraft.
