University of California, San Diego
Workshop Description
This is a beginning workshop for teachers who are starting to use or who are interested in using a SMART Interactive Whiteboard. This workshop will assist you in using the SMART Notebook software so that you can create engaging interactive lessons to meet the needs of your students. You will learn how to find lessons and templates that correlate to standards along with how to create your own lessons using the software. This software is free and you do not need a SMART board to use or to learn the software.
This workshop is open to all grade levels. Use of interactive technology in your classroom is a marvelous way to educate students, regardless of their learning style, and add some pizzazz to your lessons. This workshop will give practical ways on how you can keep your students focused and engaged while learning key components of the curriculum.
