Family Science Days at the AAAS Annual Meeting - February 20-21

AAAS Family Science Days

San Diego-area students, teachers, families, and others are invited to browse interactive tabletop exhibits, learn about "cool jobs" in science, and have questions answered by experts during two free Family Science Days organized by the nonprofit American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). This free public-service event -- set for Saturday and Sunday, February 20-21, from 11:00 am until 5:00 p.m. in the San Diego Convention Center Exhibit Hall -- is open to all but may be especially appropriate for middle- and high-school students. Featuring hands-on demonstrations and other family and kid-friendly activities, AAAS Family Science Days will shine a spotlight on a broad range of formal and informal science educators who promote an interest in science among the general public.
