This Nature Education Fair is sponsored by the San Diego Children and Nature Collaborative (SDCaN), which was organized in January 2009 and has involved participants from more than 50 organizations that offer nature-based and other children’s programs. The mission of the collaborative is to “inspire communities to nurture, empower, and engage youth in cultivating their relationship with nature.” One of the six strategic goals is to enhance schools’ abilities to connect children to nearby nature—and hopefully this Nature Education Fair will give you many ideas, resources, and activities for you and your students in the coming year!
