Escondido-The San Diego Archaeological Center is pleased to offer Project Archaeology programs for the San Diego-Imperial Council’s “Native American Lore” Try-It for Brownie Girl Scouts.

Tools from Native Americans who have lived in San Diego County for many generations are on display in the Center’s Museum. By combining a guided tour of the Cultural Periods of San Diego with a number of hands-on activities, the Project Archaeology session can fulfill all requirements for this enriching Try-It. Prepare your troop for their visit by downloading “What is Archaeology?” from the Center’s website.

“Native American Lore” Try-It Classes are offered Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each session is 2.5 hours in length. Times can be modified for special circumstances.
