UCSD High School Photography Summer 2010 Workshop
The San Diego Supercomputer Center, at the University of California, San Diego, and UCSD Extension's College Exploration Program presents an exciting new addition to our summer line up for high school students in grades 9 - 12.
Exploring Digital
Photography and the Wonders of Photoshop
Monday - Friday, August 2 - 6, 2010 – 8:30am -
3:00pm
Have five days of fun learning about photography.
This workshop will focus on students creating original photographic
compositions with a camera and computer software. These hands-on lessons will
include how to take visual interesting, well-composed photographs; camera
controls and settings; photo manipulation using Adobe Photoshop; and a variety
of techniques for presenting photographic artwork. Students will also get to
experience a guided tour of the renowned Museum of Photographic Art in Balboa
Park to highlight what they have learned throughout the workshop experience.

Course fee: $225.00 (Includes a guided tour of the
Museum of Photographic Art in Balboa Park)
