The 2010-2011 Saturday Workshop Series for Secondary Life Science Teachers

Spend 4 Saturdays in Balboa Park at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center with other San Diego County high school life science teachers examining the role of inquiry in the secondary life science classroom.

Learn how to support process skill development in students and incorporate more inquiry into life science lesson plans. 

This four part workshop series will also include presentations by Health Science High School and Middle College students reflecting on their experience as a learner in the classroom.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE THURSDAY November 11, 2010 BY 5:00 PM

A $600 stipend is provided for teachers who attend all 4 workshops. 

The workshops will be held at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park.
