A-STEM group to lead 2-hour guided interactive tour of the USMC hardware and personnel at the Miramar Air Show

The A-STEM group will lead 2-hour guided interactive tour of the USMC hardware and personnel at the Miramar Air Show on Saturday, 10/2.  To participate, meet at the grandstand ticket booth at 0945. All students must be accompanied by responsible adult. All will travel as a group through the exhibits until 1200. About a half-dozen ASTEM discussion leaders will be part of the event.

We will apply what we learned about small civilian aircraft to large military aircraft. If someone did not attend the first ASTEM session, they are still welcome to accompany and learn with the rest of us.

We will look at the aircraft, looking for how they address the topics of Aerodynamics, Power Plant, Instruments, etc. We will also interact with the pilots and crews, asking as many questions as possible.
