Space Day at the Air and Space Museum!
The San Diego Air & Space Museum will host its 8th Annual Space Day celebration on Saturday May 28th 2011. Space Day is a great family event, and will feature demonstrations, give-aways, and hands-on activities with local and national space experts. We are excited to announce astronaut Woody Spring will also be here to give a talk and do a meet and greet.

Previous presenters include our friends at San Diego Space Society, NASA, SDAA (San Diego Astronomy Association), JPL, The Mars Society, SETI, UCSD EarthKAM, The Planetary Society, and others. As an extra bonus, the museum’s space galleries are open for viewing throughout the event, including flown Apollo spacecraft, moon rocks and space suits.
