Exploring STEM Careers with Sea Perch aboard USS Midway

Sea Perch is a hands-on project developed to stimulate the interest in science and engineering in middle and high school classrooms. SDSA, SPAWAR and US Navy have collaborated to bring this exciting curriculum building activity to San Diego in a series of Friday/Saturday workshops.
Build or enhance an existing STEM based PBA classroom or extra-curricular activity which addresses science, math and technology content standards by participating in one of these unique workshops.
- Curriculum used will be the MIT Sea Perch ROUV plan. An instruction manual and coordinated classroom science and math lessons will also be provided.
- Participating teachers will receive a Sea Perch kit in addition to the one built at the workshop.
- Participating teams will have the opportunity to participate in Sea Perch Challenge Events. Visit our website to learn about Sea Perch Challenge Events.
Space is limited to 20 participants.
