Math for America San Diego Accepting Applications for New NSF Master Teaching Fellowship
Math for America San Diego is offering a new NSF-funded five-year professional development program for experienced secondary school math teachers interested in improving critical teaching and leadership skills.
The MfA SD Noyce Master Teaching Fellowship Program is currently accepting applications from middle and high school math teachers who:
- have a minimum of six years of math teaching experience
- hold a master’s degree in mathematics, education or a related field
- have outstanding teaching and interpersonal skills
- teach in a high need school or school district in San Diego County
Selected MfA SD Master Teaching Fellows will
receive a $10,000 stipend per year for five years.
The application deadline is February 18, 2011. To learn more about the program, please plan to attend a special information session at the GSDMC Annual Conference on Feb. 5 at 11:30 a.m., Room C-1.
