The San Diego Science Festival has two important volunteer opportunities.

ASK ME, I'M A SCIENTIST OR ENGINEER BOOTH.
New this year, the Festival will have a designated booth where kids can interview a scientist or engineer. We are recruiting scientists and engineers for one-hour shifts to sit and talk with the kids, answering their questions and engaging them in the possibilities of careers in science and engineering.  To volunteer at this booth, please contact mjball@ucsd.edu. CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS.
The Festival needs 200 volunteers to help with various activities on EXPO DAY at PETCO Park on March 26, 2011.  As a Science Festival volunteer, you can make a big difference in the community while meeting new friends, gaining leadership skills and having fun with science.
