Coastal Photo Contest and Resources for Educators

The 2011 Ocean and Coastal Amateur Photography Contest is now online!  Upload up to five photos depicting the scenic coast and Pacific Ocean off California , native ocean and coastal wildlife, or people and the California coast, and then encourage your friends to vote for you.  Entry is free and fabulous donated prizes consist of overnight stays at one of four different Fairmont hotels.  Deadline to enter is August 19, 2011 and voting runs through September 2nd.  To enter your photos or vote for others, visit http://mycoastalphoto.com.  Sponsored by the California Coastal Commission, Thank You Ocean, and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts of California .
