International Botball Tournament held in conjunction with the Global Conference on Educational Robotics, July 9-13
Hundreds of middle and high school students across the
country have given up their free time to put their science, programming, math
and engineering skills to practical use by designing, building and writing code
for their Botball robots. Classrooms and after school programs have been alive
with these activities!
On July 9-13th, they will put their autonomous robots to the test as they
participate in the International Botball Tournament held in conjunction with
the Global Conference on Educational Robotics. The conference is co-presented by
the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, the Office of Naval Research, NASA and
the Northrop Grumman Foundation. It should
be an exhilarating event.
All events will be at the Hyatt Regency Orange County (11999 Harbor Blvd, Garden
Grove, CA 92840).
Botball teaches real-life programming and software
development as well as valuable teamwork skills, project documentation, and
working to a schedule...skills our young people will need and use one day as
part of our nation's workforce and as our future leaders.
Botball is a program of the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, a 501(c) 3
