Request for students to record oral histories

The Classroom of the Future Foundation seeks teachers who have students that are learning to use video recording technology to conduct oral histories.  San Diego hosts a large number of Nobel laureates in science, as well as a large number of inventors of aviation, wireless communications and biotechnology concepts, among other things.  Think of hearing from people who worked in the early days of Ryan Aeronautical, Qualcomm or Hybritech or IDEC Pharmaceuticals. As those people age, we may lose access to their inspiration for younger generations.  Capturing their first-person stories may be one way to spark interest among students for years to come.

If you have students that could conduct an audio/video recording of an oral history, please contact Rick Beach, at: Rick.Beach@amazingpossibilities.org

If you have contacts with inventors or innovators of significant ideas, then please contact Rick Beach at: Rick.Beach@amazingpossibilities.org
