Educators teaching grades 3 - 9 are invited to attend our next TeacherTECH Earth Science Series offered in collaboration with Bio-Waves, Inc. This exciting series, taught be experts in the field of astronomy and earth science, is focused on hands-on earth science activities and resources to engage your students while teaching the standards.

Workshop Description:
This computer-based workshop will explore the extensive educational resources available from a host of organizations specializing in earth science. If you are interested in materials for teaching earth science to your students, but are limited on spare time to collect this information, this workshop is for you. In our navigation of these online resources, we will highlight sites offering images, animations, videos, data, hands-on experiments and education activities. In addition to discovering new materials for your class, we will discover sources for information regarding current earth science research, so that you can track up-to-date studies of the Earth.
All participants will leave with a collection of materials compiled from the organizations surveyed in the workshop
All participants will receive a workshop certificate endorsed by the San Diego County Office of Education for professional development credit.
