Calling Young Artists! Enter to WIN A FREE Nature Art Sculpting Workshop at the Chula Vista Nature Center!

To celebrate Endangered Species Day, the Chula Vista Nature Center will be offering a FREE art workshop to selected students thanks to support from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

When:       May 21, 2011
                   ages 6-11: 11am-12:30pm
                   ages 12-17: 1-2:30pm

Where:     Chula Vista Nature Center

Cost:         Free to selected students & includes all supplies and admission to the Nature Center for the selected student

What:       Sculpt & decorate an endangered sea turtle in a workshop taught by a professional artist

Who:        15 lucky 6-11 year olds & 15 lucky 12-17 year olds

How:        To enter, students should submit a statement of 100 words or less about how they can help endangered green sea turtles. Entries should include the student’s name, age, a phone number and city. Entries must be received at katie@cvnc.us by 5pm, May 12.  Winners will be notified by 5pm, May 13.
