ANNOUNCE A FIELD or CLASSROOM STUDY OPPORTUNITY
MINI-GRANT PROGRAM

For 4th-8th grade teachers in the following districts:  Oceanside, San Marcos, Vista

Approximately forty (40) $500 mini-grants are available to science teachers in grades 4-8 in Oceanside, San Marcos, and Vista Districts for field or classroom experiences for students that :
•    Are integrated into a standards-based unit of study.
•    Provide evidence of student learning in Earth, Life, or  Physical science.
•    Will be completed by May 2012

Eligible field experiences include museums, zoos, universities, parks, natural areas, and more.  Eligible classroom projects are hands-on science.  Find field experience ideas in SDSA's Resource Catalog.

Grant funds may be used for bus expenses, substitutes, admission costs, and supplies.
