Girls' Day Out event - Inspiring young girls to become educated women

Parents and girls in grades 6-8 are invited to join us for this FREE fun-filled event. This event will take place at the University of San Diego, on Saturday, October 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.   

Program includes:

• Female STEM Panel
• College Campus Tour
• Build It Workshop for Students
• Engaging experiments led by professional scientists and engineers as well as college students
• FREE Lunch

SPACE IS LIMITED AND REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

• Student’s Name
• School Child Attends
• Grade Level
• Chaperone’s Name
• Chaperone’s Email Address

Please note that a chaperone is required for every student. All chaperones must be 18 years of age or older and remain at the event for the duration. Chaperones and students will be separated at times.

This event is hosted in conjunction with the National Defense Education Program, SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific, the University of San Diego, the National Defense Industrial Association, and Women in Defense.
