Green Skills for Life competition deadline extended to 10/23/11

Dear friends of the San Diego Air & Space Museum,

We’re excited about this year’s Green Skills for Life competition, in partnership with Ford Motor Company Fund.  We are also aware that this is a very uncertain time for many San Diego county teachers, with the possibility of further layoffs looming.

Following some feedback, to allow all teachers, families and students to participate in this great opportunity, we have decided to extend the competition deadline by one week.

The competition deadline is now Sunday, October 23, 2011.

Further information can be found at the Museum’s web site, http://sandiegoairandspace.org, linked from the home page. The prizes are up to $1000, and many of the entry categories (such as art) could easily be completed in an hour. It’s a great opportunity for your kids, and great prizes!
