CSTA Annual Conference Coming to Los Angeles County- Oct. 21-23

2011 California Science Education Conference

Join CSTA and your fellow California science teacher for the 20th annual California Science Education Conference. Your conference registration includes access to over 200 workshops, two general sessions, seven focus speakers lectures, a fantastic exhibit hall, and excellent networking opportunities. For an additional fee you can also purchase tickets for Field Courses, Short Courses, and the Awards Breakfast. CSTA has pulled out all the stops for this year's program. The opening session will feature an interactive keynote presentation that will seek your input to answer "What's Next for Science Education in America?". The closing session on Sunday, will feature none-other than world famous actor and environmental activist Ed Begley, Jr. Speaking of world famous individuals, the internationally-renowned artist Wyland will not only be at the conference to present as a part of a panel presentation on the connections between art, science, and creativity, he will also be auctioning off a limited edition print, the proceeds of which will benefit CSTA and the Wyland  Foundation.
