The California Air Resources Board invites California high
school classrooms, environmental clubs, and other student groups to participate
in the 2011-2012 Climate Generation Program. The competition creates an opportunity
for students to gain real-world experience in leadership and project management

sustainability and reduce the carbon footprint of their school or community.
The classroom projects must benefit the school or community and relate to one
or more of the following topic areas:
- Energy Conservation
- Renewable Energy
- Water Conservation
- Transportation
- School Operations
- Awareness/Communication (Outreach)
Classrooms and student groups must register and submit a project report. Registration is open until February 3, 2012.
Project reports are due April 2, 2012.
