This professional development session will help teachers easily integrate PEAK’s environmental energy education into classrooms.

THE PEAK WORKSHOP IS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR EDUCATORS WHO:
- Want to address the 3rd through 7th grade California Academic Content Standards in an engaging meaningful way!
- Want to prepare students for standardized tests using relevant curriculum!
- Are interested in hands-on science labs and activities that empower students to save energy!
- Wish to inspire students to take action to create a more sustainable world!
DURING THE DAY YOU WILL LEARN and EXPLORE:
- The environmental impact of our energy use.
- The hands-on PEAK Labs and Action Activities.
- Ways to empower students to become change agents.
- How to integrate the PEAK program with confidence and ease.
TOOLS, SUPPORT, and RESOURCES INCLUDED:
- PEAK Teacher Resource Guidebook- Correlated to 3rd through 7th grade Science, English Language Arts, and Mathematics content standards. Easily integrated into existing lesson plans.
- PEAK Toolkit- Contains all the supplies needed for the PEAK labs and activities (valued at over $350).
- Substitute Reimbursements/Stipends- Reimbursement provided for substitute teachers on school days or $100 stipends to teachers on non-school days.
- Ongoing Support- PEAK provides educational assemblies, classroom assistance, instructional planning, special events, and more!
